Dredge Technician

CLS is on the hook for a Dredge Technician for Broussard, LA. This is a temp to hire position. Dredge technician can travel in and around the US operating Specialized Dredge Equipment in all types of waters and secured locations. Capable of long stays from home, works holidays and nights if required. Technician is required to work in acclimate weather, in and around a marine equipment such as Dredge barges and Push Boats. Required to operate and maintain Push Boats, Hydraulic units and centrifugal pumps. Once trained and capable of being a senior tech, will be asked to operate a Crane, GPS tracking device, use a laptop computer to complete daily logs, GPS tracking and field tickets.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED
Collage is a plus
Valid Drivers License
Must pass background, physical, and drug screen
TWIC Card
Knowledge in Hydraulics
Equipment Maintenance background
Has worked for Oilfield Fracking
Knowledge of Pipeline flushing
Can handle long stays from Home 30+ days
Worked on large Dredge units is a minor. Were specialized, not a typical dredger.
Per Diem
Housing provided when working out of town

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
