*Position Summary:* Performs maintenance and repairs to dieselt tractors and/or trailers. Performs maintenance and repairs to APU’s. Installs Qual-Com units in tractors.

*Job Responsibilities:*
* Perform all preventive maintenance on tractors/trailers
* Perform all repairs to tractors/trailers
* Diagnose and repair all wiring/electrical problems on tractors/trailers
* Install Qual-Com tracking units in tractors and perform any required maintenance on such units
* Perform maintenance repairs to APU’s
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

*Education, Skills and Experience:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* A degree or certification in Diesel Mechanics, or equivelant, is preferred
* One (1) year related experience in tractor/trailer maintenance, preferred
* Must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure
* Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks
* Willingness to learn and be coached by location management and/or other technicians
* The following skills are required: Computer skills, Communication skills, Organizational skills, Strong Problem-Solving skills

*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to operate a variety of equipment to provide hands-on maintenance functions
* Frequent kneeling, bending, climbing as needed to maintenance of vehicles and equipment
* Ability to work with heights and in varying environments, including hot, cold, dusty and in the presence of exhaust fumes, etc.
* Ability to travel between indoor and outdoor settings
* Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed
* Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, occassional lifting up to 100 lbs.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
