For more information about Nintendo, please visit the company’s website at https://www.nintendo.com/.Sr Compensation Analyst Role: As a Sr Compensation Analyst, you will drive and support critical programs and processes including our compensation cycle reporting, systems configurations, and market pricing data management. You will analyze and administer compensation programs and processes for Nintendo of America and our subsidiary companies in support of the organization’s strategic objectives. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in managing and supporting various compensation systems including merit and bonus processing systems, salary survey management systems, and demonstrate the ability to participate in salary surveys and work with salary survey data in support of the organization’s strategic objectives all while delivering in a thoughtful, collaborative way.Description of DutiesPartners and consults with HR leadership and HR business partners in the design, development, implementation and administration of compensation programs and processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and market competitiveness.Conducts research, provides detailed analysis and expert advice and makes recommendations regarding compensation plan design changes and new programs to support strategic business initiatives.Consults and advises management on compensation matters and strategies and provides innovative solutions and guidance.Actively participates in the administration of performance, salary and bonus review programs, including development of communication materials, evaluating salary and bonus recommendations from managers, and preparing and validating summary reports for senior leadership.Partners with NOA managers and HR Business Partners on job description development and manages the annual job description review process.Reviews and evaluates job descriptions for exempt/non-exempt status, makes recommendations regarding job titles and determines appropriate pay levels based on market competitiveness and internal job comparisons.Creates and maintains job codes in Oracle HRIS including assignment of EEO and workers’ compensation codes.Partners with HR business partners, recruiters and hiring managers to conduct compensation analysis necessary to support recruiting efforts.Participates in salary surveys on behalf of Nintendo and conducts in-depth analysis of published salary survey data.Evaluates new salary surveys for validity and makes recommendations regarding applicability for Nintendo.Maintains in-depth awareness of local and national salary and incentive trends and evaluates current programs to ensure ongoing organizational fit.Summary Of RequirementsFive plus years of related compensation experience in positions of increasing responsibility.Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing computer applications (Word, Excel, Access and HRIS programs).Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to work under pressure and to independently and simultaneously handle multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to work effectively in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions.Strong technical and functional knowledge of compensation theories and practices.Knowledge of state and federal labor laws.Strong math skills.Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job family and basic knowledge of related job families.Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent. Professional in Human Resource (PHR) a plus. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus.Other informationApplicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA and requires regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for the division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.This position includes a base salary range of $105,300 - $168,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
