Senior Manager, Merchant Strategy & Operations, Merchant Apps Company: DoorDash As a Senior Manager on the Merchant Team, you will shape the vision and execution of DoorDash’s core merchant tools—including the Merchant Portal and Business Manager App—ensuring we offer products that are accessible, discoverable, and useful to merchants’ experiences. About the Team DoorDash empowers over 500,000 local businesses ("merchants") by connecting them to customers. On the Merchant Team, we build the easiest, most profitable way for merchants to grow. We aim to sign up every merchant, onboard them instantly, represent their brand and products fully, ensure every interaction with DoorDash is seamless, and drive consistent profitable growth. About the Role You’ll help merchants operate seamlessly on our platform by ensuring our products are easily accessible, discoverable, and useful. Success requires strong cross‑functional leadership and the ability to drive impact across product, engineering, sales, and operations. You’ll Make an Impact By Developing and building critical tools that merchants need to run their businesses Having game‑changing impact on our merchants’ operations and experience with DoorDash Strategizing—starting from first principles to develop optimal solutions for our customers Experimenting—transforming strategies into operational experiments that create measurable, actionable outcomes Analyzing—assessing operational and financial impacts and iterating based on data Leading and collaborating with cross‑functional partners in marketing, design, product, engineering, analytics, sales, and operations We’re Excited About You Because You Have 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, product management, product operations, or related fields Direct people‑management experience A bias for action and agility; you move quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced environment Proven ability to create clarity and focus in complex, ambiguous problem spaces and articulate that vision to partners Strong analytical skills; experience with SQL and/or Excel Owner mindset—responsibility for outcomes and shaping company vision Exceptional communication skills in written, verbal, and visual formats Strong business acumen with risk, opportunity, and trade‑off assessment Bachelor’s degree Compensation Base salary: $170,000—$250,000 USD (localized to work location). Includes equity grant opportunities. 401(k) with employer matching, 16 weeks paid parental leave, wellness, commuter benefits, paid time off, sick leave, health, dental, vision, 11 paid holidays, disability, life insurance, family‑forming assistance, and mental health program. Paid Time Off Details For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrual about 1 hour per 25.97 hours worked; paid sick time roughly 1 hour per 30 hours worked. Location & Expiration Position will be filled by 01 December 2026.
