Job Overview:
Vegas Off Road Tours is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mechanic and Tour Guide to join our team.  

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of 2024 Polaris UTVs, ensuring they are in top condition for our off-road adventures. Additionally, this role requires providing exceptional customer service as a tour guide, leading guests through thrilling off-road experiences while delivering informative and engaging tours.

Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of 2024 Polaris UTVs to ensure safety and reliability.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct pre-ride inspections to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition for tours.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts used and services performed.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop, managing tools and equipment efficiently.
Coordinate with the Operations Manager for ordering parts and managing inventory.
 

Tour Guiding:

Lead guided off-road tours, providing an exciting and safe experience for guests.
Educate guests on the operation of UTVs, emphasizing safety protocols and proper handling techniques.
Share knowledge about the local terrain, history, and wildlife to enhance the tour experience.
Assist guests with fitting helmets and safety gear, ensuring all equipment is properly used.
Address any guest concerns or questions in a friendly and professional manner.
Monitor guest safety throughout the tour, providing assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Skills:

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with UTVs or similar vehicles.
Strong knowledge of UTV maintenance, repair techniques, and diagnostic procedures.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
Certification in automotive or small engine repair is a plus.
Tour Guide Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and entertain guests with informative and enjoyable tours.
Strong commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
Previous experience as a tour guide or in customer service is preferred.
Other Requirements:

Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.
