As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling AI-powered features within a fast-growing SaaS environment. This position involves designing and implementing services that bring artificial intelligence to life in real-world user experiences. You’ll collaborate with product, platform, and design teams to build APIs, backend services, and integrations that make AI an integral part of customer workflows. Accountabilities Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs that embed AI into customer-facing features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, AI-driven user experiences. Work closely with platform and integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between AI components and existing SaaS systems. Implement robust observability, monitoring, and error-handling practices for AI services in production. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the AI integration stack, including TypeScript SDKs, MCP servers, and LLM orchestration tools. Ensure that AI-enabled features deliver tangible improvements in automation, personalization, and customer experience. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering, ideally in a SaaS context. Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, with hands‑on experience building APIs and backend systems. Familiarity with LLM/AI tools within the JavaScript or Python ecosystem (e.g., LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, MCP servers). Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI services into production environments. Experience working with Python‑based AI systems and bridging multiple tech stacks. Bonus: frontend skills in React and experience designing AI‑powered user interfaces.
