Senior Director, Portfolio and Operations R&D CC and AI COE Join Pfizer as Senior Director of Portfolio and Operations R&D CC and AI COE, a strategic leadership role within Pfizer Digital. You will drive portfolio governance, operational excellence, and business operations across the organization, ensuring alignment of portfolio initiatives with enterprise priorities and enabling transparent decision‑making. Responsibilities Provide strategic oversight of portfolio governance and prioritization to align initiatives with enterprise objectives and deliver maximum value. Lead portfolio management team and oversee portfolio prioritization and governance processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and compliance with governance standards. Partner with category leadership and decision‑analysis teams to evaluate portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities, enabling data‑driven investment decisions. Implement processes for portfolio resource management, including dynamic funding and scenario planning to maximize value within budget constraints. Drive operational planning and continuous improvement to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support organizational goals. Establish and monitor KPIs and milestones to track progress across programs and ensure timely delivery. Lead annual and operational planning cycles, integrating portfolio priorities with business objectives. Integrate portfolio management with finance capital and operating budget processes, providing forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting. Serve as chief of staff to VP, Strategic Initiatives and Delivery, facilitating leadership meetings and cross‑functional communications. Lead risk assessments for portfolio initiatives, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance. Foster cross‑functional leadership, collaborating across business units and mentoring portfolio managers and change‑management colleagues. Promote an inclusive, high‑performance team culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and engagement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or relevant project‑management experience. Exceptional interpersonal and engagement skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive business outcomes. Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Proven ability to develop and coach talent, building effective teams. Experience managing large, complex dynamic budgets.> Strategic and creative thought partner with strong cross‑functional collaboration. Work in a large global distributable matrixed environment, leveraging external resources. Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, planning, and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and adept at data analysis. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience. Broad leadership experience influencing peers, coaching others, and achieving business impact. Benefits The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204,700.00 to $341,100.00, with additional performance bonuses and share‑based incentive programs.
