ResponsibilitiesAscension Saint ThomasHeart is seeking a Full Time Cardiology APP with will be working in both a Inpatient and Clinic setting in and around the Nashville, Tn market.
Position Highlights:
- Working Saturday/Sunday weekends plus 1-2 days per week in an outpatient setting (8-10 hr shifts)
- Cardiology APP that will see inpatient consults, updating notes and round on patients as well as discharging
- General Cardiology service with knowledge of both Inpatient and Outpatient needed
- Seeing both your own panel of patient in outpatient
- Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is the largest cardiovascular program in the region, offering access to over 80 cardiac specialists and subspecialists practicing at 45 locations throughout Middle TN and Southern KY. When advanced care is needed the experienced teams at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown, West and Rutherford are ready to care for you.
- Each year, we provide care to more than 7,000 heart failure patients using evidence-based care plans.
- Cardiac surgery is offered at both Ascension Saint Thomas West and Rutherford.
- The largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program in the region
- Actively participates in over 30 clinical trials to advance high quality innovation and excellence in patient care
- Provides latest technology in heart transplant, VAD, ECMO, TAVR and mitral clips and advanced coronary therapies
- Most experienced robotic assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgery team in the country

- The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.

Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
