Geisinger is seeking a full-time BC/BE nephrologist to join our group located at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  We are looking for an energetic individual committed to the delivery of clinical care and dedicated to teaching and medical education. Our team consists of seventeen nephrologists and four Advanced Practitioners who participate in the department's expanding activities, which reflect broad programmatic and scholarly interests.

The Department of Nephrology provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient subspecialty services, including inpatient evaluation of AKI, critical care consultation, CCRT, acute and chronic dialysis, outpatient management of CKD, a comprehensive metabolic nephrolithiasis clinic, multidrug-resistant hypertension clinics, pretransplant kidney evaluations and postoperative/long-term management of kidney transplant recipients.

Teaching and mentorship responsibilities include oversight of residents from our internal medicine program and medical students from affiliated institutions. Opportunities for clinical and translational investigation are available through on campus research centers.
