Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a LTAC facility in Kansa City, KS

Shift: 7A-7P

Hourly Rate: $60

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in KS
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in medical records documentation and coding
- Ability to provide critical care in emergency situations
- Familiarity with medical imaging technology and interpretation
- Experience in senior care or family planning is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
