As we prepare to launch this incredible new attraction in September, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Front of House team.

About the Role:

As a Front of House Usher, you will be at the forefront of this exciting new experience, ensuring that every guest has a memorable visit. You'll play a crucial role in customer service, guest safety, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, interact with a diverse range of guests, and be a part of something truly unique.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, answering questions, and assisting with any inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure the safety of all guests by following established protocols and assisting with the proper use of VR equipment.
  • Guide guests in using VR equipment, including helping them put on headsets, explaining controls, and adjusting settings as needed.
  • Independently troubleshoot technical and software issues with all equipment to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience for guests.
  • Explain how to use VR equipment to guests who may be unfamiliar with it, offering clear and patient instructions to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.
  • Serve as a representative of Blumenthal Arts, embodying our values of excellence, innovation, and community engagement.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with virtual reality technology preferred
  • A background in gaming or technology is preferred, with an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and equipment.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
