Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analyst – Mid‑Level with Security Clearance Location: Ft. Shafter, HIClearance Needed: TS/SCISeniority Level: Mid‑Senior Overview Parsons is hiring a GEOINT EO/SAR Analyst to support U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), performing high‑impact intelligence analysis on advanced mapping and sensor data. The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and a commitment to shift work. Responsibilities Analyze overhead and aerial imagery to provide critical information about enemy forces, potential battle areas, and combat operations support. Conduct exploitation, development, and distribution of geospatial intelligence products to support customer missions. Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure operational mission compliance. Compile and maintain imagery and target data. Prepare maps, charts, reports, and geo‑spatial intelligence products. Provide analysis and research of industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerabilities. Perform quality control of GEOINT reports before release. Prepare assessments of current events based on the collection, research, and analysis of classified and open source information. Collect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. Support a team of intelligence analysts and interface with the government customer on deliverables, requirements, and GEOINT products. Exploit and analyze multi‑sensor imagery and geospatial data. Analyze terrain and structures to determine usability and possible threats. Utilize maps to determine locations and distance from targets. Qualifications – Required 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in a related field; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 4+ years’ experience working in a multi‑skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis. Detailed knowledge of GEOINT collection sensors, platforms, and sources within collection disciplines, including Electro‑Optical (EO) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Detailed knowledge of GEOINT concepts, principles, and practices, and its sub‑disciplines, policy, operations, tasking, and procedures. Detailed knowledge of targeting principles associated with GEOINT platforms, public‑available information, and open source networks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to proofread, edit, and finalize intelligence products for senior leader briefings. Valid U.S. passport. Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required. Qualifications – Preferred Previous experience working GEOINT analytical support with a focus on INDOPACOM threats. Prior Army Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst (35G) experience. Experience supporting U.S. Pacific Command (USARPAC) GEOINT intelligence analysis. Experience supporting U.S. Indo‑Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) intelligence and/or operations. Working knowledge of GEOINT sub‑disciplines, including SAR, Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, EO, MTI, non‑imaging infrared, and LiDAR. Knowledge of GEOINT software tools such as Socet GXP, IEC, NES, ENVI, AGITK, eTPR, VAP, Cedalion, ArcGIS, ESRI, and common office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Security Clearance An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $86,700.00 – $151,700.00 Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays.
