Senior Manager, Indirect Tax

You will manage the preparation and filing of returns, identify issues and develop solutions, supervise members of the tax team and build and maintain relationships within the business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical skills and passion for process improvement.ResponsibilitiesResearching indirect tax laws and regulations and ensuring the company is compliantManagement of the sales and property tax functions for KDA and applicable subsidiariesMonitoring the accuracy of tax data and providingManage tax audits and investigationsAdvise company on tax implications of business decisions e.g. M&A, divestments, asset purchasesIdentify issues and develop & implement solutionsBuild and develop new processes to improve the efficiency of the departmentCommunication of indirect tax matters to internal and external stakeholdersManage & develop tax professionalsQualificationsBS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant fieldA master’s degree in taxation or a CPA certification10 years of experience in the indirect tax areaExperience dealing with tax authorities and managing tax auditsExcellent communication skillsProven ability to drive change and improve processesProficient in Microsoft skillsPreferredExperience with Sovos, Avalara or other tax solutions is a plusProject management skillsThe typical pay range for this role is $106,000 - $158,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
