This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Duties NOTE: The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this occupational series. For more information, refer to Required Documents below. The Senior Social Worker practices in the Addiction and Recovery Treatment (ART) program and/or Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at the Veterans Village Recovery Center (VVRC). The Senior Social Worker serves a Veteran population with highly complex mental health and health problems in addition to substance abuse/addiction. The Senior Social Work position is located onsite at the Long Beach HCS or at the WRC.
