**Role Summary**

**The pool bartender is responsible for creating cocktails in a timely manner with proper technical skill. The bartender will work in a quick and efficient manner. The bartender is responsible for having a thorough and in depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu, and curating a guest experience. The ideal candidate will perform tasks in an energetic, professional manner. It is imperative that the bartender is team oriented, has great communication skills, and attention to detail.**

**Core Responsibilities**

**The key responsibilities for this position are:**

* **Must have an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service, guests relations and etiquette.**

* **Must have in-depth wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge. Some past knowledge curating specialty cocktails is a plus.**

* **Individuals must be able to perform mental activities such as mutli-tasking, learning, thinking, following instructions, concentrating, interacting with others and handling stressful situations, self control, attention to details and being reliable.**

* **The bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, making food and beverage selections, graciously performing steps of service, maintaining cleanliness of the bar top and back bar.**

* **Must maintain restaurant and hotel service standards.**

* **The bartender is responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work space.**

* **Abide by all State and Federal liquor laws.**

* **Complete all opening and closing duties assigned.**

**Required Qualifications**

* **Must have previous bartending and bar backing experience.**

* **TIPs certification**

* **Food Safety certification.**

* **Must be at least 21 years of age.**

**Preferred Qualifications**

* **Needs to have previous hospitality experience.**

* **High volume experience is a plus.**

* **Education: Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.**
