Our company has been a long-time leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies to the legal market to improve productivity and transform the overall business and practice of law, deploying ethical and powerful generative AI solutions with a flexible, multi-model approach that prioritizes using the best model from today’s top model creators for each individual legal use case. **About the Role**The Senior Software Engineer position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products. This position performs software design — typically across multiple systems; mentors more-junior members of the team; and talks to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions.**Requirements:** **Software Engineering Experience:**Proven track record in software development. **Educational Background:**BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience. **Development Methodologies:**Advanced knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices. **Architectural Design:**Ability to translate designs into development plans, including API and Microservice implementation. **Azure Cloud Technologies:**Strong experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Cognitive Search, Blob/Table Storage, CosmosDB, Data Factory, and API Management. **Development Best Practices:**Proficiency in version control, TDD, CI/CD, Clean Code principles, code review, performance testing, observability, telemetry, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). **Team Collaboration:**Ability to interface with other technical personnel to finalize requirements. **Mentorship:**Experience mentoring junior developers. **Preferred Experience:**Familiarity with Azure US Gov Cloud. **Additional Skills:** **Machine Learning and AI:**These are considered a plus for the role. **Responsibilities:** * Health Benefits: Comprehensive, multi-carrier program for medical, dental and vision benefits* Retirement Benefits: 401(k) with match and an Employee Share Purchase Plan* Wellbeing: Wellness platform with incentives, Headspace app subscription, Employee Assistance and Time-off Programs* Short-and-Long Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death Insurance, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity* Family Benefits, including bonding and family care leaves, adoption and surrogacy benefits* Health Savings, Health Care, Dependent Care and Commuter Spending Accounts* Up to two days of paid leave each to participate in Employee Resource Groups and to volunteer with your charity of choice
