Greenville (population 90,000+) is located 80 miles west of the beautiful North Carolina Coast and 80 miles east of Raleigh.* Employment by ECU Health Physicians* Academic appointment with East Carolina University at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor* Hospital Privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed level 1 trauma center, regional leader for neurosciences, and the only comprehensive stroke center in eastern North Carolina* Opportunity due to program expansion* Established neurology practice inclusive of 13 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers* Primarily outpatient clinical care with occasional inpatient responsibilities associated with attending duties of residency program* Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, schedule* No call* Opportunity to be a part of a new ACGME neurology residency program* Available resources include an on-site infusion suite, on-site lab, EEG, EMG and nerve conduction study resources, and an ALS clinic* Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology.
