Hospital Administrator | UF Health Durbin Park Join to apply for the Hospital Administrator | UF Health Durbin Park role at UF Health St. Johns. Overview The Hospital Administrator will report to the President of UF Health St. Johns and is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the hospital. This role ensures high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, financial stability, regulatory compliance, and positive community engagement. The Administrator works closely with medical staff, department leaders, and the health system’s executive team to align hospital operations with organizational goals. Responsibilities Provide executive leadership for all hospital functions, ensuring alignment with health system strategies and community needs. Develop and implement operational plans that enhance patient care, service delivery, and hospital growth. Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Monitor productivity, revenue cycle, and cost management initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards. Lead initiatives to improve quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and clinical effectiveness. Foster collaborative relationships with medical staff, nursing, and support teams. Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional development. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, as well as organizational policies. Prepare the hospital for successful surveys and audits (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS). Serve as the hospital’s representative in the community, building relationships with civic leaders, business partners, and stakeholders. Promote community health initiatives and maintain a positive organizational reputation. Qualifications Seven to ten years of progressive leadership experience in hospital or healthcare administration required. Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field. Proven track record in Hospital operations, financial management and quality improvement. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditations requirements, and compliance standards. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
