Job Type Full-timeDescriptionKondex Corporation is looking for Assembly Techs to join the Sickle Assembly department.Current opening on 2nd shift2nd Shift hours: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm to 12 am(Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs)$3.00 per hour shift premiumEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Basic manual assembly using pneumatic and hand tools.Reading prints and routings.Operate specialized machines or processes within the department such as CNC machine, punch press, drill press, automated assembly line, etc. Performing basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.Wrapping completed products in preparation for shipment.Closing orders in computer system.Perform manual material handling.Performing 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the Sickle Assembly department.The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position.RequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent work experience.Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Prior experience using basic hand tools is preferred.Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.Prior computer experience in a manufacturing environment (ERP/MRP (Epicor) or HMI systems) is preferred.Kondex is an equal opportunity employer. #INDPlantSalary Description $17.50 - $21.50,per hr + $3.00 per hr shift prem
