Employer Industry: Workers' Compensation Insurance Why consider this job opportunity Salary range between $138,330 - $218,599, depending on geographic location and experience Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Comprehensive benefits package as part of the rewards program Supportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on employee development Chance to make a positive impact on claims strategies and financial goals What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Set and communicate enterprise-wide standards for Workers’ Compensation loss management Direct the handling of complex and high-value WC claims as the final authority Provide expert guidance on WC claims and policy interpretation Oversee and monitor the performance of the Workers’ Compensation Claims department Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends and enhance claims efficiency What is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience Minimum of ten years of workers’ compensation experience in progressively responsible roles Prior supervisory or managerial experience Superior knowledge of the theory and practice of the WC claim function Excellent organizational and communication skills How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Insurance designations such as AIC, CIC, AIM, and CPCU Proven knowledge of property insurance contracts and medical terminology Advanced analytical abilities with good judgment in property loss and coverage matters Experience in motivating claims team members in the handling of WC claims Familiarity with relevant court decisions and guidelines in the claims function We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
