Overview:
We are hiring an occupational therapist to work in our Roswell and Kennesaw clinic. The applicant must have solid foundation treating sensory processing disorders and comfortable with working in early intervention-Autism. We serve both community children and children in our ABA program with a range of disabilities mild to moderate. 1+ year experience desirable. We are a multidisciplinary therapy team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, RBTs and BCBAs. Hours and days are flexible.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration
- Assist patients in developing or regaining daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
- Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process
- Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to occupational therapy interventions
- Familiarity with speech therapy techniques is a plus
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: From $68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
