Recovery Home Specialist (2nd Shift) Be a champion of hope. Position Purpose Directly supervise residents, providing continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe, therapeutic environment. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addiction‑treatment services to clients and their families, and facilitate recovery issues. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Familiarity with 12‑step programs highly desirable Proficiency in adult behavioral management techniques Computer proficiency required Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records required Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements Must have own transportation Job Responsibilities Work hours prescribed with any additional hours deemed necessary; overtime may be required. Supervise and manage the behavior of residents, providing appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences. Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate the development of independent living skills. Develop and present all resident education. Assist in planning menus with residents and shopping for household items. Supervise daily activities including house jobs, study halls, menu planning, shopping, cooking meals, free time, etc. Consult with other staff and plan daily therapeutic direction for the shift. Facilitate focal group discussion sessions. Attend all scheduled staff meetings such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings, or committee meetings as designated. Maintain client service records in accordance with rules and regulations. If designated, monitor self‑administration of medicine by residents and record information on the medical log. Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols. Participate in mandatory PCI training, access controls, and regular security assessments aligned with PCI Data Security Standard guidelines. Oversee house cleanliness, resident house jobs, and proper use of equipment and supplies. Serve as a member of the Rosecrance Team and participate in all team meetings and activities. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency. Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.
