This is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual with lived experience in recovery to support others in achieving housing stability and overall wellness. As an SPRS, you will model recovery, provide coaching and support, and help clients connect to essential services—all while working in a mission-driven, equity-centered environment.Key Responsibilities:Build supportive relationships with clients to promote engagement in care and housing servicesUse motivational interviewing and coaching techniques to assist clients with complex needsCoordinate care across housing, health, behavioral health, and social service systemsProvide individual and group peer support in community and home-based settingsMentor and train other Peer staff, supporting certification and professional developmentComplete timely, accurate documentation and ensure compliance with grant requirementsAct as a subject matter expert in connecting clients to recovery and substance use resourcesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; AA in Human Services preferredMinimum of five (5) years of experience in linking clients to health and behavioral health servicesPersonal experience with substance use, mental illness, homelessness, HIV, or incarcerationValid Maryland driver’s license and access to personal vehicleKnowledge of Baltimore City resources and commitment to harm reduction and housing-first modelsWhat We’re Looking For:Compassionate, resilient, and self-aware team playerStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAble to maintain professional boundaries and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-focused environmentDemonstrated ability to mentor peers and promote wellness through lived experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
