Overview Service Manager Modern Chevrolet of Winston-Salem, NC Modern Chevrolet of Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our leadership team. This is a key role responsible for leading a multi-line service department with a focus on profitability, efficiency, customer retention, and team development. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all Service Department operations, ensuring profitability and efficiency. Maintain CSI scores at or above manufacturer standards and drive a culture of 100% customer satisfaction. Build strong customer relationships and foster long-term loyalty. Collaborate with other department managers to maximize dealership performance and profitability. Ensure compliance with all manufacturer warranty policies and procedures. Develop and execute a marketing plan that promotes new and repeat business. Maintain positive business relationships with the manufacturer and industry partners. Set clear performance goals for Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff while providing coaching, mentoring, and accountability. Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and ongoing development for department team members. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Manager in a dealership setting (multi-line experience preferred). Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on respect and employee engagement. Solid understanding of federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations (e.g., OSHA, hazardous waste, Right-to-Know). Proven record of driving service department growth, profitability, and customer retention. Commitment to ethical business practices. Experience with CDK software is a plus.
