We utilize various tools to provide timely accurate and reliable batch processing and system monitoring services across multiple platforms. The NOC Analyst role is responsible for technology support for business partners and internal customers. This position plays a critical role in our success providing support for Mainframe and Cloud Core Systems and the underlying infrastructure. Key support duties include monitoring core systems / processes mainframe job scheduling and abend remediation providing solutions and / or escalating to appropriate support teams for impacting events and acting as a centralized communications hub to support a high volume high transaction dynamic operational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and submit customer mainframe batch processesMonitor and report on customer network and / or server outagesMainframe job scheduling and abend remediation using CA7 / CA Scheduler / IBM Tivoli or similar scheduling softwareMonitor customer communication via email or phone escalating where appropriateParticipate in customer bridge calls as neededMonitor and assist with server patching activitiesIncident triage correlation and escalationCreate and enhance operational documentation including runbooks processes and proceduresIdentify and recommend improvements that enhance the client experienceParticipate in automaton efforts leveraging advanced automation technologiesComplete duties as assignedThe Ideal Candidate for This RoleBasic knowledge in desktop server and network operationsExperience acting in a supporting role in an enterprise class IT operations environmentDemonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service experiencesMust have excellent oral and written communication skillKnowledge of mainframe tape management and batch operationsDemonstrated success collaborating with colleagues senior leadership business partners and customersQualifications & Preferences1 year customer service experience in the Information Technology Industry1 year operational mainframe experience1 year experience in utilizing mainframe job scheduling systems (using one or more of these technologies CA7 / CA Scheduler / IBM Tivoli)1 year previous NOC (Network Operations Center) / Command Center / Help Desk / Operations Center experience1 year experience in desktop server and or network supportCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation :Compensation range (base pay) : $51347.00-$84723.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience education and / or skill level.Work Environment :It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
