Position Title: Financial Commission AnalystReports to: Commissions ManagerDepartment: Finance/CommissionsLocation: Summit NJ (in-office position)Classification: Full-timeSummary / Job Objective: This position is responsible for commission, production processing and reporting. As a part of our Finance and Commissions team, you will have the responsibility of working through many processes and using your skills to drive the business to end results. In this role, you will be working closely with Finance, Operations and Sales Team.Primary ResponsibilitiesProcess monthly and weekly commissions: this process includes accounts reconciliation, running reports, populating worksheets, performing calculations, obtaining approvals and preparing files for paymentsSummarize and communicate commission data to multiple team membersCalculate and audit commissions payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisionsMaintain an accurate trackable record of commissions and supporting dataReview, upload and enter commission data into Sales Force (the CRM system)Research, document and communicate resolutions to external and internal business partners for all inquiries regarding the commission and payment processAudit of commission statements to ensure the organization is receiving correct paymentsTrouble shooting commission issues and resolve through investigationPerform other duties as assignedMaintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the jobQualificationsBachelor’s Degree preferred (Finance, economics, business, mathematics or similar)4+ years of experience in commissions or accounting/finance fieldStrong math skills/ analytical thinking skillsDetail orientated and comfortable working with large data setsStrong computer skills – Excel (formulas, pivot tables)Salesforce.com experience a plus, but not requiredWilling to take ownership of the positionAbility to understand the time standards and order of work flow to complete the prime responsibilitiesCore CompetenciesPossess strong people and problem-solving skills and be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationAble to work successfully in a team environment as well as independentlyAbility to handle change and be effective in a fast-paced environmentStrong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesGreat written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $50K-$65K based on experienceThis is an exempt positionAnnual performance bonus target: 5%BenefitsEmployee benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, other)401k with employer matchPaid Time OffPaid parkingLocationSummit, NJ (in-office position, Monday–Friday) #J-18808-Ljbffr
