Senior Technical Project Manager

This fully remote position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and exceptional client communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project management for custom software development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget deliveryDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teamsDevelop comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and budgetsServe as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining transparent communication and managing expectationsCoordinate cross-functional teams including frontend developers, backend engineers, designers, and QA specialistsFacilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviewsTrack project progress using project management tools and provide regular status reports to stakeholdersIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks while developing contingency plansManage change requests and scope modifications through formal change control processesEnsure adherence to software development best practices and quality standardsFacilitate technical discussions and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersConduct post-project evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience managing software development projects in agile environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fieldStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Technical background with ability to understand system architectures, APIs, and development processesProven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within budgetProficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Linear, Monday.com)Experience with version control concepts and development workflows (Git, CI/CD)Excellent stakeholder management and client communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsPMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferredFluent in English (written and verbal); German proficiency is highly advantageousLegal authorization to work in Switzerland or EUPreferred QualificationsExperience managing projects involving microservices architecture and cloud infrastructureBackground in software development with hands-on coding experienceKnowledge of modern frontend and backend technologiesExperience working with distributed remote teams across multiple time zonesFamiliarity with budget management and resource planning toolsUnderstanding of DevOps practices and continuous deployment strategiesExperience in consulting or agency environments serving multiple clientsTrack record of vendor management and third-party integration projectsCompensation and Working ConditionsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience and Swiss market ratesFully remote position with flexible working hoursOpportunity to lead diverse, technically challenging projectsProfessional development budget for PM certifications, courses, and conferencesCollaborative culture emphasizing continuous improvement and innovationDirect impact on project success and client satisfactionApplication ProcessQualified candidates should submit their application including CV, examples of successfully managed projects or case studies, and a cover letter outlining relevant project management experience.
