VCU Healths Pauley Heart Center is one of the preeminent heart centers in the U.S., and the successful candidate will join a team dedicated to both academic discovery and outstanding clinical care for its patients.This position presents a cardiologist with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local communities, while also leveraging the myriad resources available within an academic health systemthat is, VCU Health, based in Richmond, Virginia. South Hill is located about 80 miles south-west of Richmond, and in 2014, the towns longstanding Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) merged with VCU Health. In 2017, VCU Health CMH moved into a brand-new replacement facility with 70 patient beds and an adjacent long-term care facility with an additional 140 beds.
