Located in Wilsonville, OR Salary: $21.00 Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler Pay: $21/hr. Location: Wilsonville Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm, OT when needed. We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team in a contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electrical components and sub-assemblies for automation equipment. #1939ST Key Responsibilities: Build and wire electrical assemblies according to schematics and drawings Create cable assemblies using crimping and soldering techniques Solder simple PCB assemblies Run and groom cable assemblies on tools Connect common PC cables (power, serial, Ethernet) to components Perform basic electrical troubleshooting (continuity and voltage checks) Assist in preparing equipment for power-down and crating Inspect incoming parts for quality and conformance to specifications Provide feedback to technicians, engineers, and project managers Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience as an electrical assembler or technician (or equivalent combination of experience and training) Knowledge of basic AC/DC circuits and electrical symbols Proficiency in crimping, soldering, drilling & tapping, wire grooming, and mechanical assembly Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Good documentation and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong safety awareness and understanding of shop practices Ability to read, write, and understand English Desired Skills: Excellent electrical/electronic aptitude Good time management and interpersonal skills Ability to make accurate modifications and sketches If you are passionate about electrical assembly and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply Benefits during the contract period: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Sick Leave Paid Leave Oregon 401k Term Life and Short-Term Disability Weekly paychecks We offer $50 referral bonuses; if you have friends or family looking for work, we will pay you.
