  • Full Time
  • Monday through Friday
  • 6:00am-10:00am and then 3:30pm-7:00pm

  • Starting wage between $17.00/hour - $20.00/hour (depending on experience)

Wait Staff Supervisor
  • Directs and supervises the wait staff and front of the house at an Independent Living facility.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, scheduling and assisting in the evaluation of the wait staff.
  • Will also be expected to perform wait staff functions for part of each shift.
  • Assures the residents' dining room service is up to a standard of excellence.
  • Addresses resident concerns regarding dining room service, meal quality, meal temperature, and reservation issues, and report concerns to the Dining Services Manager.
  • Ensures a trained and effective wait staff to meet the needs of the residents.
  • Assist Activity Director with event planning, holidays, wine socials, & birthdays to elevate the residents' experiences.
  • Assist Chef/Cooks with reservations, special events and buffets.
Wait Staff Supervisor Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in the food service environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to organize and delegate work assignments.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary dining room and front kitchen as directed by the Chef.
