We are currently looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician II to join our C585 Operations team located at the Chickasaw Travel Stop #540 working .Summary:Repair equipment and machinery in order to maintain building environment and grounds including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services.Responsibilities:* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection* Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes* Maintains equipment/machinery, systems and building by completing preventive maintenance schedules* Repairs basic machinery utilizing a basic understanding of machine design and repair* Sweeps walkways, removes litter, empties exterior trashcans and maintains paved areas* Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot* Maintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment* Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed* Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers* Hauls files and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio visual equipment following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed* Performs all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Knowledge of machine and electrical hardware* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management* Keeps written records* Prepares role specific reportsSkills:Essential:* Basic Computer skills* Work Order Management Application* Cleaning Solvents, chemicals etcExperience:Essential:* 2 years directly related experienceEducation:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass gaming background check* Pass general background check* Standard Driver's License* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Bright and Flashing lights* Casino* Mix of office/non-office settings* Outside, all weather conditions* Over head - ladders, platforms, etc.* Workshop/equipment yard* Temperature fluctuations* Computers, printers, phones* Hand-held radios* Hand tools* Power tools* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Potential exposure to cleaning fluids and solvents* Potential exposure to dust and mold* Moving mechanical parts* Slippery surfaces* Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations* Pass pre-employment drug test* Eye wear* Face shield* Gloves* Hard hat* Mask* Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Sometimes bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Sometimes climb ladders* Sometimes climb stairs* May be required to crawl* Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp* Operate hand tools* Manual dexterity* Operate mechanic tools* Operate power tools* Listening and hearing ability* Sometimes work at heights* Frequently lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Moderately strenuous work* Sitting up to 50% of shift* Sitting up to 75% of shift* Sometimes work in small or cramped areas* Standing up to 50% of shift* Standing up to 75% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Walking up to 50% of shift* Walking up to 75% of shift* Car, van, light truck* Scissor lift
