CPA with advanced tax degree preferred. 3 to 8 years combined tax experience in public accounting and industry with a large corporation preferred. Tax accounting experience and exposure to ASC 740 (FAS 109) are needed for success in this position. Strong PC skills including Excel, analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, and self-starter attributes are required. Responsibilities Assists in the preparation of the federal, state, and local income tax returns, including gathering data, preparing workpapers, and performing tax research to support tax positions. Analyzes and assimilates financial information necessary for preparing financial statement tax provisions, accounting for deferred income taxes, and responding to tax audits. Responds to tax inquiries from other departments on various non-income tax matters including unclaimed property reports, Form 1099 compliance, sales / use tax inquiries, and personal property tax returns. #J-18808-Ljbffr
