Job Description: Under general supervision, in accordance with established policies and procedures, performs a variety of support activities. Provides customer service to loan clients. Assists loan officers in gathering information required for loans. Creates loan files. Orders, reviews and tracks documentation necessary for loan applications, renewals, extensions and closings. Facilitates and completes loan closings. Performs and manages the loan review process and other functions as assigned.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls and correspondence, resolves customer inquiries, and when necessary, directs calls and correspondence to loan officers.
- Creates and maintains loan files for loan officers.
- Assists in preparing loan applications and supporting documentation for approval.
- Processes applications in accordance with regulations and other requirements.
- Orders credit reports, title work, appraisals, surveys, flood certifications and business entity searches as needed.
- Assists in obtaining and documenting required items for loans including financial statements, insurance documentation, tax returns, UCC filings and other items, as required.
- Assists loan officers in curing loan file exceptions.
- Handles loan closings, as needed.
- Loan experience is preferred.
- One year of banking experience.
- Two years of administrative experience.
