This role oversees a team of fraud strategists and data scientists focused on advanced detection models and risk systems. The leader represents fraud in executive forums, driving innovation and cross-functional alignment to protect and support business growth.Job Description:Essential Responsibilities:Develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision and strategy for data science, inspiring the team and aligning with PayPal's long-term goals.Lead the execution of high-impact data science projects that drive business transformation and innovation.Collaborate with senior executives to integrate data science into strategic planning and decision-making.Oversee the development of advanced data science capabilities, including machine learning and AI.Ensure the highest standards of data governance, privacy, and security.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the data science team.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 18 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years management experiencePayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
