**Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 1.5 years required

**License:** IN or compact license required; must be in hand if start date is 2-4 weeks out or licensing process started for start dates 4+ weeks out.

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS; OCN preferred

**Must-Have:**
- PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Accessing ports
- Blood Product Administration
- Peripheral Line Care/Management
- Phlebotomy
- PICC line management
- Starting IVs

**Job Description:**
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Oncology Progressive Care Unit.
- Work collaboratively with a team approach including nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff.
- Care for stable progressive care patients, patients with a cancer diagnosis or history, provide end-of-life care including inpatient hospice, and handle medical levels of care.
- Opportunity to become chemotherapy trained and pursue certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN).
- Expect to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- The unit uses an acuity adaptable model and accommodates various patient needs.
- Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
- A 12-hour orientation is provided.

Note: A COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but a flu vaccine is mandatory with medical/religious exemptions only.
