Join to apply for the Senior VDC/BIM Engineer role at SwinertonJob Description SummaryWork with VD&C Manager & Assigned Project to create field related Layout, detail & coordination drawingsCompensation Range$81,300.00 - $122,000.00 Annual SalaryJob DescriptionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Work with on-site project team to update models to reflect as-built conditionsUtilize Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks to manage the project coordination effortUtilize Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks to develop accurate Layout, detail and coordination drawingsIn conjunction with the VD&C Manager and other team members, establish and maintain detailed project standards and improve systems for Division wide consistent layout, detailing and coordinationDriving and leading the implementation of these technologies on large-scale construction projectsManage, train, and supervise project team on creation, manipulation & updating of layout, detailing and coordination drawingsProvide technical support to team members utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and other BIM related software and hardwareAssist VD&C Manager with the development and setup of BIM Model Server platformIntegrate and manage 3D Laser Scanning capabilities into project standard proceduresMaintain updated understanding of owned & available Hardware, Software, their capabilities and train others on advancesParticipate and Collaborate with Swinerton Labs and The Center For ExcellenceIn-depth understanding of commercial construction means and methodsDevelop professional digital images, renderings & video’s for Marketing, Proposals & ProjectsWork with local, regional and corporate IT and VDC staff in support, maintenance and development of firm-wide BIM standards and 3D CAD toolsParticipating as a integral team member in the adoption of Virtual Design & Construction programOther duties as assignedMinimum Skills Or Experience RequirementsThree to Four years experience in using Revit & AutoCAD for architecture, engineering, mechanical systems, and construction related model creation effortsArchitectural, Engineering, Construction Management degree or equivalent experienceExpert knowledge of and direct support experience in AutoCAD and Revit Architecture / StructuralExperience with NavisworksExperience with survey and layoutCommunication and multi-tasking skills are a mustSummary Of BenefitsThis role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D, business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness coaching, educational assistance, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitness membership, and DashPass delivery membership.
