The Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Health is seeking applications for the position of Section Chief, Thoracic Oncology Program. The successful candidate should have substantial leadership experience and be capable of overseeing the entire thoracic oncology program, collaborating effectively with senior cancer center leadership. The section chief will be responsible for developing a clinical and translational research program, establishing a portfolio of clinical trials, and mentoring junior faculty. We are looking for an experienced clinician-investigator eligible for appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor. The Perlmutter Cancer Center, affiliated with the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health, is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. It features robust phase I and disease-specific clinical trials that provide patients access to a wide array of novel treatments. Our faculty have demonstrated national leadership in early-phase and investigator-initiated trials, with a diverse clinical trial portfolio and pioneering work in immunotherapy applications in cancer.
