They may carry out supervisory responsibilities, order assigned products to maximize sales, and possess and convey a culinary level of food expertise. Work under minimal supervision, apply guidelines and procedures to decisions, monitor and address problems promptly, and make sound decisions on everyday issues. Requires specific product knowledge depending on the Department.Assist in orderingMay assist in writing weekly Department scheduleIdentify and address high priority activities firstCommunicate clear expectations for assignmentsDelegate responsibility to appropriate PartnersProvide excellent customer serviceMaintain operating effectivenessEnsure that all federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are metMaintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory controlAssist in merchandising the department to maximize salesUse suggestive selling techniques to maximize salesExperience And Education PreferredTypically requires 5-8 years experienceKnowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipmentExtensive knowledge of specialty food products and food preparation is essentialStrong customer service skillsPassion for foodMaterials Handling Equipment certificationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in fast paced environmentAbility to work in extreme temperaturesPrevious retail/restaurant experience requiredPhysical And Other RequirementsMust be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr
