Network Architect

Key Role: Provide services support for a large enterprise network spanning approximately 140 sites. Manage major application and site move and build projects in coordination with the team and the project manager. Assist the Network Analyst with the creation of network-related reports, setting network monitor thresholds, and overseeing network health. Respond to operational requests daily and act as the second level of escalation for incident resolution. Working closely with the Network Architect, review new technologies and standards and assist with the development of SOPs, runbooks, and other operational resources for the network team. Report the regular status of projects and operational issues to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM).Responsibilities:Design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain network components, including network monitoring systems.Manage all network equipment supporting the enterprise for both project and operational requirements.Evaluate new network technologies.Test network and network systems.Monitor and resolve network incidents on a 24x7 basis.Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and gateways.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Alternatively, a high school diploma plus 12 years of relevant experience.Strong experience with Cisco Systems network and datacenter products.Desired knowledge of technologies: ACI, SD-WAN, SD-Access is a plus.Knowledge of Cisco ISE.Experience managing large application build and move projects.Strong background in Service and Change Management.CCNANice to Have Skills & ExperienceAbility to present complex technical concepts in understandable language.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Experience creating and presenting project plans and designs.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
