About this role.
As a physician in our Senior Primary Care clinic, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role, you will see approximately 18 patients in a 10-hour day.
- You will practice at our Mesquite Senior Primary Care Clinic
- Your hours will be 4 10-hour shifts with no call
- Youll receive a $30,000 stipend for serving the community in Mesquite, NV
- Meet a couple of your future coworkers and learn more about the clinic and area - Dr. Brandon Stilson, MD and Dr. Kristian Burgess, DO
Requirements of this role:
- Unrestricted Nevada MD/DO license
- Current Nevada pharmacy license and DEA certificate required before start date
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics
- Comfortable being a collaborating provider for Advanced Practice Provider(s)
- Two years of experience in Primary Care
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
Preferences for this role:
- Experience in managed care
- Experience in rural medicine

Life in the Mountain West
Mesquite, Nevada is a small community of 22,000 located in Clark County, the same county as Las Vegas, adjacent to the Arizona state line. It is 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, and easily accessible via Interstate 15. Mesquite covers an area of approximately 32.4 square miles. It is near several State and National parks in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah like Valley of Fire State Park, Grand Canyon National Parks Northern Rim, and Dixie National Forest. Cedar City, Utah, a 90-minute drive from Mesquite, is home to the Utah Shakespeare Festival, which takes place annually from June to October.
