Pay for this position is $15/hr

Shift is flexible from 7a-4pm or 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

A Day in the Life of an APMEX Janitor:

The Janitor will maintain buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, restrooms, carpets, glass panels or windows, and removing trash/debris.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Service, clean and supply restrooms
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
  • Notify manager immediately concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Notify Manager for supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1-year janitorial work required

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening- including criminal, credit inquiries and drug screen * Valid Medical cards are accepted*
