OBGYN Physician – Open to Final Year Residents Optum is looking for an accomplished OB/GYN physician to join our division in Las Vegas, NV. This role is ideal for final‑year residents seeking a full‑time position that combines clinical practice, teaching, and leadership within a clinician‑led care organization. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive women’s health services, including office services, deliveries, inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Deliver compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care. Maintain professionalism through ethical practice and sensitivity to a diverse patient population. Apply systems‑based practice by leveraging organizational resources for optimal value. Keep regular office hours during the week and serve as primary and backup call (including weekends and holidays). Attend scheduled departmental and mandatory meetings; participate on assigned committees. Assist with departmental recruitment and community outreach. Advantages of Practice Monday‑Friday office schedule; no clinic calls on off‑call days. Hospital calls are off‑site and shared evenly. Full scope GYN practice with major and minor procedure days. Excellent access to GYN‑Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU physicians. Monthly collegial group meetings. Compensation & Benefits Highlights Minimum base salary of $350,000. Quality/productivity‑based bonus potential. $100,000 sign‑on bonus. Relocation assistance (as needed). Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, and LTD coverage; UnitedHealth stock options. Continuing Medical Education allowance with time off. Professional liability insurance. Generous PTO and retirement program (401(k) with employer contributions). Required Qualifications Board certified or board‑eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Completion of an Obstetrics/Gynecology residency program. Medical license in Nevada or ability to obtain before employment start. DEA license or ability to obtain before employment start. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual skills are a plus.
