- This role would be on site full time for training, and then once completed would be on a 3 days in, 2 days WFH schedule
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTANT
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and
proper coding of transactions to the general ledger. - Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank statements.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements,
including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Manage grant accounting, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and reporting
requirements. - Track grant expenditures and prepare invoices and financial reports for grantors.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and budgets.
- General Accounting experience
- Grants experience is a huge plus
- Non-profit experience is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
