This role supports patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures and contributes to our mission of high‑quality patient care. Responsibilities Maintain a sanitary environment for patients Demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment Prepare the endoscopy unit and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case Assist in the maintenance, care, and labeling of specimens Identify specimens with the surgeon and pass them to the circulating RN Qualifications Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program preferred One year of acute‑care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center Valid BCLS certification on employment (online certification not acceptable) Location: Wasatch Endoscopy Surgery Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. The facility is Joint Commission accredited and performs over 350 procedures a month.
