Junior Visual Designer

As the Junior Visual Designer, you will work directly with the Associate Manager of Digital Design to create on-brand visual content across all platforms, including email marketing, website content, retail signage, print collateral, and photo retouching. The Junior Visual Designer will work closely and cross-functionally with the marketing, eCommerce, and retail teams to create on-brand designs for all platforms. The "eye candy" you create will play a big role in our ability to attract customers and create an overall whimsical, luxury aesthetic that visually delights our target audience.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and animating creative content for all digital channels including email marketing/campaigns, website banners, landing pages, social media posts, and digital advertisements.
  • Assist with print design for in-store retail signage and marketing collateral.
  • Assist with ecommerce and lifestyle photo retouching.
  • Support and partner with the Associate Manager of Digital Design, Director of Marketing, and all cross-functional partners to develop creative assets for multiple projects at a time.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of digital media, industry trends, and a desire for innovation to stay on top of the ever-changing industry.
  • Maintain design standards and brand guidelines, ensuring all design assets reflect the brand's visual identity and tone.
  • Ensure and elevate brand aesthetic across all touchpoints.
  • Ability to develop, execute, and organize files for all assigned projects.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities, project direction, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple campaigns/projects.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, visual identity, and best practices for web and mobile.
  • Strong desire to learn and open to taking feedback for improvement.
  • Present designs to all cross-functional partners and articulate the vision for design.


Skills and Requirements

  • B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • 2-3+ years of relevant digital and print experience, preferably in the luxury industry.
  • Experience in photo retouching including masking/comping, color correction, and general image cleaning.
  • Portfolio showcasing strong design intuition, with skills in typography & composition.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and other relevant tools.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and communicate effectively to complete projects within tight timelines.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design and vision.
  • A collaborative team player who is goal-oriented and capable of working with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong sense of ownership of projects and deadlines.
  • Great organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Has a strong design eye and passion for the luxury industry.
