Pay Range MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology offers a base pay range of $143,619.00 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills and experience. About the Role The Nurse Practitioner (NP) serves as a Clinical Consultant within a Multidisciplinary Team, working with Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, and other Medical Professionals to manage acute and chronic pain for hospitalized patients. The position rotates between MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in the Baltimore region, providing a diverse clinical experience. Responsibilities Rounding daily on new and established patients Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and perioperative evaluations Performing history and physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing care plans Prescribing and managing pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic pain treatments Managing epidural and peripheral nerve catheters Documenting clinical findings in progress notes Educating patients and families on pain management strategies Providing pain management education and serving as a resource for team members across the institution Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. What We Offer Highly competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, with retirement plan matching Generous paid time off (PTO) Annual continuing medical education (CME) allowanceFull reimbursement for licensure and credentialing expenses Note We do not accept inquiries or solicitations from third‑party recruiters or search firms.
