Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the charge: As Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent, you'll oversee all aspects of assigned projects, from pre-construction planning to final punch list, across a diverse range of infrastructure types like highways, bridges, tunnels, dams, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Safety first: Cultivate a culture of safety excellence, ensuring strict adherence to regulations and company protocols on Heavy Civil Construction sites.
  • Master of scheduling: Develop and implement detailed project schedules for Heavy Civil Construction projects, anticipating challenges and proactively mitigating risks.
  • Teamwork makes the dream work: Collaborate effectively with engineers, sub-contractors, and diverse stakeholders on Heavy Civil Construction projects.
  • Technical prowess: Deep understanding of Heavy Civil Construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures is essential.
  • Budget boss: Monitor and manage project budgets meticulously for Heavy Civil Construction projects, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Communication is key: Clearly communicate project milestones, progress updates, and challenges to all stakeholders on Heavy Civil Construction projects.
  • Problem-solving pro: Remain calm under pressure and creatively solve unexpected issues with minimal disruption on Heavy Civil Construction sites.
  • Mentor and motivate: Cultivate a positive and productive work environment, fostering personal and professional growth within your team on Heavy Civil Construction projects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex Heavy Civil Construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and best practices for Heavy Civil Construction.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in construction project management software, including AGTEK, AUTOCAD, PROCORE, and Microsoft Office Suite.
