Our national scale enables us to help clients develop and implement standardized solutions at any facility, regardless of location or local resources.We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead or contribute to detailed hardware and software design of process automation control systems projects. Responsibilities include defining architecture requirements, developing detailed software design specifications, programming PLC and SCADA applications, configuring thin client server applications, process-based historian databases, tuning control loops, and providing startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and qualification services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee projects from concept through commissioning.Must be local to, and willing to commute to Phoenix, AZYou Will:Design and develop application/control systems for varying complexitiesEvaluate and develop alternative system solutions to meet requirementsModify program/system logic involving multiple subsystemsGain proficiency in programming languages and control device networks for PLCs and PCsEngage with customers to understand their business environment and define scope, plans, and deliverablesWork effectively in a team, focusing on customer service and continuous improvementTravel at least 30% to local sitesAppreciate documentation and planning in a regulated environmentEmbody our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and professional developmentYou Have:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fieldsMinimum 5 years of experience or equivalent educationConsulting experienceProficiency in troubleshooting control systems and understanding of process controlsExperience with Rockwell products such as ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, and Studio 5000Experience with other PLC platforms (GE, Siemens, Modicon)Experience with SCADA/HMI packages (Proficy, Wonderware)Experience implementing detailed electrical control system designsKnowledge of control system networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet)Data Center experience is a plusUnderstanding of Biopharmaceutical processes, GMP, and validationKnowledge of S88 Batch standards and batch system implementationExcellent communication skillsCollaborative and team-oriented mindsetBenefits include 401k with match, prompt enrollment in medical benefits, generous paid time off, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
