Under the supervision of the professional nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to assigned patients.Responsibilities:Understands and demonstrates current OSHA standards.Records patient care accurately on the Patient Care Flow SheetPractices telephone courtesy and communicates appropriate information to patients, visitors, and personnel from other departments.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :**Other information:High School DiplomaAHA or ARC BLS Healthcare ProviderOne year of previous experience as a nursing assistantCurrently enrolled in a nursing program and have completed two cycles of clinical rotationCompletion of an approved certified nursing assistant training programIn keeping with federal, state and local laws, Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) policy forbids employees and associates to discriminate against anyone based on race, religion, color, gender, age, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
