Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $30/hr
Monday-Friday:  8am-5pm

What’s a typical day as a Farm Technician? You’ll be:
• Responsible for the operational work in the fields to ensure successful crop growth
• Using farm facilities and machinery in a proper and safe way, performing maintenance and repairs as needed
• Driving tractors, trucks, cars, and forklifts in a safe and proper manner
• Using power tools and field equipment safely and properly, maintaining and repairing them as necessary
• Executing daily crop work and maintenance in the most effective and efficient way
• Conducting troubleshooting and repairs on farm equipment
• Performing basic math calculations for mixing pesticides, fertilizers, disinfectants, etc.
• Taking care of certain tasks outside normal working hours, such as crop and pest control, and monitoring premises and security systems

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in crop management and farm operations
• Possess the ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Are knowledgeable in basic math calculations for mixing chemicals
• Have a strong commitment to safety and following QHSE standards
• Are able to communicate effectively with colleagues
• Have a good understanding of plant hygiene rules
• Can work independently and efficiently
